Looking for House/Apt

Post by amazonann77 »

Hey all!

My husband and I are looking to move closer to Downtown and **hopefully** into a house. We're currently up around 183 and Mopac.

We're looking for a 2bed/ 1-2 bath
gas stoves
possibly a yard or porch

Our rent limit is around 1,200.

We moved a here about a year ago from Denver. I'm Ann Flynn and my husband is Austin Terrell. We're newer to the improv community but we've gone on auditions and we're working with some established players here. (just so you all know we're in the community)

Thanks for any help!
And if this is wrong place to post this please feel free to let me know.

I would check into the duplexes in Duplex Nation in the Cherrywood neighborhood. Most are 2 bedroom and probably within your range. They were all built for returning soldiers to start families after WWII. They're super cute and eclectic, and in my favorite neighborhood in Austin. (There also happen to be a ton of improvisors in the neighborhood too!) They're all separately owned, so the amenities, upkeep, and rates can vary but I know several people who have lived there and have been pretty happy.
