FACT OF THE DAY: In 1994, an Air Force research lab produced a three-page proposal on possible nonlethal weapons. One of the ideas was a bomb loaded with aphrodisiacs, which would make its victims sexually aroused towards each other. Other ideas in the paper included bombs to cause flatulence or halitosis, or spraying enemy troops with bee pheromones (to be followed with a massive release of bees).
