The last Dark Bloodlords show for a while is tonight at 8 during the Thursday Night Awesome.
The Bloodlords started as a Cagematch team, and we had so much fun doing shows that we kept going.
We've been doing a style based very closely on the Choose Your Own Adventure novels of old.
My sincerest thanks go to some awesome improvisers:
Mike Kinald- This man plays a fuzzy monster with an absurd accent better than anyone in the business. He also once played Jesus Christ, as portrayed by Bill Cosby
Andy Crouch- Andy always has an eye on the story, and does what it takes to get it back on track
Michael Jastroch- Jastroch is an idiot savant when it comes to playing subltly sinister villains. One time he did nothing but drink tea and prepare a dinner table, and it still dripped with evil.
Kaci Beeler- in Kaci's world, every plucky middleschooler has a backpack loaded with anything a young adventurer might need
Jason Vines- I think he's played at least 3 magical frog-like creatures, several teachers, various henchmen, and the disembodied spirit of an existentialist writer or two
Amy McKenna- for being such a nice person, Amy can play snooty, snotty characters really well.
Andy P- as a frequent loyal sidekick, Andy has wound up dying in the stories more times than anyone else.
Chris Allen- The King of Physicality in Austin, hands down. Need a portal? a tree? a cheese hawk? Chris Allen's your object.
We filmed our show last Friday and I'm real proud of it. So proud that I put it online. You can watch the whole thing here, on Google video:
