FANCY PANTS THE MUSICAL, Jan 4th
NOTE: To be considered for the cast of Fancy Pants, please sign up with your FIRST and LAST NAME, your EXPERIENCE LEVEL and/or THEATER AFFILIATION.
e.g. John Smith
Hideout Theatre - level 3
That's right, it's the rare and Zac Efron approved edition of Fancy Pants with live musical accompaniment from the one and only Michael Brockman!
Can't sing? PERFECT! Please sign up as normal. Not every scene will involve singing. Mr. Brockman will be scoring each scene with his mad talents. He'll make some musical offers if the mood strikes and will in every way yes and the scene you're doing.
The musical editions of Fancy Pants are seriously a blast and offer some fun new opportunities for scenes and games. (Ask me about Inappropriate Sound Que.)
What is Fancy Pants? Well, Fancy Pants happens the first Friday of every month at the Hideout Theatre and is a total blast for ANY improvisor, no matter their current level, experience or improv background. It's great for students looking to get more practice on stage and also a playground for veterans to try out new ideas or play with people they never get the chance to.
The show is a series of two person scenes. I draw two names at random from the hat and those players pick whatever they feel inspired to do! Have you been impersonating Cher all day? Sweet, play her in a scene or make up a game like More Cher. Feel like playing Batman Babysitter or Dinosaur Office? Do it. Want to play an old standby like New Choice? A grounded Scene From Nothing? Done. The sky is the limit.
Call time for Fancy Pants is Friday January 4th at 7:15pm sharp! The show begins at 8:00pm and FANCY ATTIRE IS EXPECTED. (The general rule is that there is no such thing as "too dressed up").
Please sign up with your first and last NAME, your EXPERIENCE LEVEL and/orTHEATER AFFILIATION. I post the cast list here on this thread the Tuesday before. No emails will be sent. So check back here to see if you've been cast!
I'd love to have you come out and play so jump in and sign up! This show is always a good time.

Did you say *singing*? YAY! Yes please! I would love to do it!
EDIT: time/conflict with commitment to doing the BAT at NM, so I'm sadly pulling my fancy, fancy hat out of the ring.

Well, I can't say no to something that's Zac-Efron-approved. (He was in Firefly, after all.)
So, I'll throw my hat in the ring:
Peter Rogers
Hideout Theatre
Took 101, 201, 301 (that's all there was, back then)

--
peter rogers @ Louisville
I sat down for one of my few sports-watching sessions of the year and caught the last half-hour of the Giants-Packers game. It was exciting! The Giants' football kicker kicked the football between the football bars! He scored a football! Hurrah!
