Hey Austin improvisers (and students), save the date: Dec. 30th. Same Years Eve. A big party/show at The Hideout that YOU are invited to perform in.

It's a big ole tradition. We put all the improvisers who show up into three groups, and do three sets: games, montage, and musical narrative.

And then we have a big party afterwards.

You don't have to buy a ticket (you're in the show!) but the event page is here:

I LOVE Same Year's Eve!

DJ Bounce House will be BACK to DJ the dance party that is after the show! (Food and mingling happens in the greenroom, the dance party is separate, in one of the theaters - in case you hate dancing or noise or something).

Don't buy a ticket. Come be in the show.

I was just saying that if people REALLY wanted to, they could play in the show in their set and then watch the rest of the show from the audience if they had a ticket.

This mainly stemmed from the fact that some improvisers had purchased tickets already. :)

Man, I can't wait!
The silver knives are flashing in the tired old cafe. A ghost climbs on the table in a bridal negligee. She says "My body is the life; my body is the way." I raise my arm against it all and I catch the bride's bouquet.

I can't wait for this! Last year I only knew a few people and this year I will probably know almost everyone!
Cheers!

Hey guys,
Could we have a few people volunteer to stay late to help clean up? It really usually only takes about 10-20 minutes depending on how many awesome people stay.

Let's say we need 5 awesome helpers.
