Seeking improvisers for THIS AMERICAN LIVE

THIS AMERICAN LIVE is the theatrical version of the popular NPR show that will be performed at The Institution Theater every Friday this November and December.

Each week, we look at a different topic and present stories, written or improvised, related to that topic.

We're looking to add a couple more performers to our rotating cast of improvisers. Rehearsals will be on the Thursday the week before each show (so the rehearsal for the November 2nd show is on October 25th, the rehearsal for November 9th is November 1st, etc.) Because, we are rotating the cast, performers will not be required to be at every show nor every rehearsal.

IF YOU'RE INTERESTED in auditioning, contact me at yesandasaf@gmail.com. Auditions will be on Saturday, October 20th. We will have slots every 10 minutes starting at 3pm with the last slot ending by 6pm.

Auditionees will be grouped in numbers of 3 or 4, given a short piece to read aloud and then asked to devise an improvisation to perform off the theme of the piece. We request that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your slot.

We want to see a wider range of people so if you have any interest, let me know. Remember, the rehearsal commitment is only one rehearsal per show that you are in.
