I'll start by saying, I'm not much of an improviser as I'm more from the theatre crowd here in Austin. (Which is why probably 90% of you have no idea who I am,) but I have done a show or two with some of you on this forum.
I want to say thank you to all those who've been extremely nice and supportive of me and made me feel welcome in the improv community since I first moved to Austin and who've continued to be great to me on those occasions when I cross over. I've met/worked with some extremely talented people and have made even better friends in the improv community and am thankful for all of you.
I also ask that all of you continue to go out and support, not just each other, but the other great arts in Austin. We all know we have a killer improv community, but Austin also has fantastic Theatre, Music, and Stand-Up Comedy scenes as well. Too many times we focus on just supporting one genre without heading out to see some of the others. (And I'm as guilty as the rest.) I plan on doing my part by seeing many more shows around Austin of all types and I hope to see you all out and about at others as well.
