Nerd-me-not
For all of you improviser computer geek techno hot shots, I am not one of you. I don't know if I am the only one, but sometimes I wander through the forum like it's a bridal shop for fat girls...
For instance, how do I upload an awesome avatar of me doing a little dance or shaving my head or something? Or even just a headshot??? Totally baffling.
Oh, and why aren't there more gay improvisers and improvisers of color in Austin?
There's my fuckin' post!

I can think of two gay imps off the top of my head.

Hey Jay, once you're logged in, near the top there should be a button 'Profile' just under AUSTIN IMPROV (Everything From Nothing) in the top right-ish corner of your screen.jaybyrd wrote: For instance, how do I upload an awesome avatar of me doing a little dance or shaving my head or something? Click it.
Scroll down to Avatar Control Panel.
From there you can either upload from your computer a picture, or link to a picture elsewhere on the web.
Hope that helps.
Ah ha. SO forum avatars are usually required to be real specific sizes (small squares). You'd need to resize the picture you want, crop it, that sort of thing. That's a little bit harder for me to walk you through... but there are websites that can help!jaybyrd wrote:Thanks, Patrick, but no. I figured that much out, it's the creating/attaching where I get hung up. I tried using a photo from my computer and got a message that its doohickies were too big, or something like that. :?
Here's one:

Enter 100 for the pixel / avatar size (as that's this board's max size).
