Every Improviser in Austin Posts on the Forum Day?

Post by acrouch »

I created a Facebook event: http://www.facebook.com/events/484776434868994/
On Wednesday, August 22, every single improviser in Austin is invited, encouraged and implored to post something (ANYTHING) on the Austin Improv Forum. http://forum.austinimprov.com/

-As a celebration of a community that has spawned too much improv.
-As a way of getting connected in anticipation of Out of Bounds.
-As a way of building new relationships and online conversations.
-As a way of figuring out exactly how many of us there are.

So at some point next Wednesday, take a moment to sound off on the forums, introduce yourself if you're new, start a new thread or conversation, add your two cents to an existing discussion, tell us what music you're listening to, write a new chapter for Wu Yun, or start a flame war if you really must.
But I'm only Facebook friends with a fraction of the improviser in Austin. Can you invite everyone you know to participate in this?

So I didn't read the details and I assumed that the day was TODAY and I was like "man - that plan failed horribly". BUT I WAS WRONG!!! It's the 22nd!!! And I'm definitely posting!

Shorthand tally: Went through facebook and tallied folks who were active at TNM in the Austin area (as of a few months ago) About 90 folks.

I'm a little in the dark since a new generation has been coming up since my trip to LA. And a handful relocated. There could be as many as 30 or 40 taking classes right now who I've yet to meet. Perhaps Mark or Amy Pacheco would be up for a more thorough tally in the near future.

That's awesome, Jesse! I'm only Facebook connected to a fraction of those people. Can you social media encourage them to participate in the mass posting on the forums tomorrow?
