Out of Bounds Hiring Staff Position

Out of Bounds is looking for someone to plan and generally manage the after-parties and other social events going on during the festival (Aug 28- Sept 3) for 2012. This is a volunteer position.

90% of the JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Brainstorm ideas with OOB staff members about places for parties, ways to make parties more awesome.
- Adhere to or smash up and rebuild new general policies and procedures pertaining to social and networking aspects of the festival
- Interface with venues, house party volunteers, alcohol vendors, food trucks, etc. to arrange for parties
- Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to schedule labor for parties and events (clean-up, security, parking help maybe)
- Oversee each of your planned events during the week or at least make sure someone you trust is there doing your job
- Arrange for the procurement, delivery, and general care of items purchased or donated for parties (ie: kegs, snacks, liquor, music, hula hoops)

NECESSARY SKILLS
- Must be able to be sweet most of the time
