Hey! I can do tickets Sat from 5am to 7am, and then the tech spot at 8am; I haven't done tech before, but I'm hoping to learn, so maybe after taking the tickets during the earlier shows, I can swing into the booth to watch for those 3 hours and maybe figure it out to be slightly helpful in the 8am slot?

So I just sent reminders out to everyone one about the Marathon tonight. I'm at my Aunts house working on an unfamiliar computer and at first I was annoyed at the amount of time it was taking me - I need to get back on the road. Then I realized that this was taking time because there are so many amazing wonderful awesome people willing to help out an event that I think makes amazing wonderful awesome things happen.
So I give a very deep felt thank you to all of you who are volunteering.

It's embarrassing to post this more than a month after the event, but I wanted to take a second and thank all the people who volunteered their time and talent as support staff in the Marathon. What Jon said above turned out to be true in spades: we were extraordinarily well taken care of at every moment, and while we can all question whether people who've voluntarily signed up for this kind of madness warrant that kind of attention, it was deeply appreciated.
As I just mentioned in an email to the performers who sat in with us, the Marathon embodied the improv idea of a bunch of talented people making a harebrained idea work by committing to it totally. So thank you thank you thank you, all of you. You make me proud and grateful to be a part of this community.
