Summer time and the Maestro is easy....6/16

Post by Jessica »

Summer time and the Maestro is easy -
Laughs are coming and the scoring is high
Your directors are great
and your tech is amazing
so come little baby - give it a try.....

(In other words please sign up for maestro - points if you can put it to a song.)

Does that mean the directors' positions are filled?

Cause I would love to direct.

It's been some time,
Since a Maestro I've played,
And it'd be divine,
To be back on that stage.

The directors I trust,
Though I know not their names,
But cast as you must,
For those hunger-like games.

It must be summer
'cause the trees are green
Could I wear a number
For some Maestro scenes?

I sure hope you'll cast me
'cause I'm good to go
Yeah it must be summer
So let's put on a show-oo-oh....

Randy Tritt, folks...

When your claps don't make five
And you're no longer alive
You can ease your bitter tears
With one of them ice-chilled beers

When you walk through the door
and there's no beer to score
You concede pretty fast
You made it nearly to the last

No you have no cerveza
No Canadian first place-a
So try some Karate
On that bastard Zarate

to stick with the Gershwin theme...

The way you grabbed my hat,
The way you kissed/killed me,
That final Beastie rap,
No, no they can't take that away from me!

The way we played New Choice,
The way it got a 3,
Your sexy Demon Voice,
No, no they can't take that away from me!

I may never, never play again
On the Hideout stage above.
Still I'll always, always keep the memory of

The things you made me say
In that Helldub scene,
When Jessica let me play
In the Maestro on June 16!
The Maestro on June 16!
Sweetness Prevails.

Oh Hideout Theater,
Let me count the ways,
I'd love to play Maestro,
In these summer days,

What fun and what joy,
You bring to my life,
To not be in you,
Would give me much strife,

A four or five,
Even a one will do,
Just please let me be,
The chosen one for you,

It may not bring you riches,
It may not get you laid,
but please chose this woman,
FOR SHE HAS NEVER PLAYED.
My mom: They're all gonna laugh at you!!!

Me: Awesome!

Maestro time
And the players are sleazy
Puns are droppin'
And the temperature's high
Yo daddy's there
And yo mamma is watchin'
So get on that stage and
Doooon't be...
Shy-hyyyyy!

Yes, I'd LOVE to play!

Maestro Slam Poem

Glasses and dreams shatter against the wall as I rage
And know in my gut that I'll be in Providence this weekend.
Providence. A name of irony, since it delivers me nowhere,
Nowhere near my home, my stage, my Maestro.

Go forth, my brothers, my sisters, and play
Play games, play solo, sit, stand, kneel, RISE.
I will be laughing in Rhode Island
But in my heart, in my gut, in my me,
I'll be thinking of five dollars. Canadian. Framed. Real.

Also you should cast Sam cause she's never done it before.
