Great questions!
The workshops will not be the same.
The 7pm workshop on Friday May 4th will be 2 hours long and will touch on things like song structure, sharing and singing performance games.
The 6:30pm workshop on Saturday May 5th will be only 1 hour long. It will be mainly games and exercises that are used for warming up to musical improv. It will be less of a learning environment and more of playing environment (though we expect there will be lot's to learn

). The folks performing in the Saturday night shows will also be invited to participate so there may be some performer involved in this workshop as well.
Previous improv singing, general singing or training of any kind is not a requirement. It's free and it's open. if this is something you have ever thought you were interested in checking out both workshops will be a great opportunity.
Greater opportunity still will be the hosted musical mixer following the workshop Friday night. Anyone can participate... including the audience! Anyone who wants to play will submit your name and we will be pairing up people who are new and who are experienced so that everyone can try their hand at doing duets, trios and show stopping group numbers. It will be playful, it will be silly and it will be a blast!
