right now my favorite is New I. L. (New Intertheatre League)
cuz it sounds like UIL.
How about New Improscholastic League, cuz it also invokes the spirit of Johnstone?
Note: I didn't start doing theater until 2005, so I also have no UIL acting experience, but at least I can convincingly play an old lady. Among other things. http://kathyrosecenter.nowcasting.com/

I never got cast in one act play in high school, but I loved it in junior high. I would be so into this. I think having judges from outside the improv world would be super cool.
TRICK QUESTION! I went to Lakeview for my Freshman Year and then transfered to Central, which was a 5A. Funny how I defaulted to the lower rating. Both levels did get trophies though.

You know what's really funny, I was going to ask "Did you go to Lakeview?" but in my head I thought, "Lakeview? Was the other highschool really called Lakeview?" And when I think about it now, our town had the two most generic sounding high school names ever. "Central" and "body of water+proximity" eg: Lakeview, Bayside, Riverdale....

No, it can get more generic. Iowa City boasts City High. Not even a geographic distinction. Just "City."

alright, people. this is getting REAL. i checked in with SVT and we could do the Sunday after Thanksgiving for cheap, but I'm curious if that would really monkey with people's availability.
so, of the people who are still checking this thread, who will be around for the Sunday after Thanksgiving?
