The Improvised Play Festival starts *today* (Thursday), so I wanted to make sure you had the low down on the parties, the workshops, and the comp policy for improvisers.

Comp Policy
Our comp policy is exactly the same as it is every weekend. If you are an improviser (from any theater/location) or a Hideout student, you can get into shows for free at the show's start time, provided they have not sold out. We would, of course, appreciate you buying tickets ahead of time, but if you want to live dangerously, have at it.
Workshops
First off, there are still spots in the workshops this Saturday. Each one is taught by the extraordinarily experienced people from Improv Playhouse of San Francisco. They're all from BATs, the theater that inspired Sean Hill to build the Hideout in the first place.

PARTIES
We'll be having a party every night of the festival.
Thursday
Gathering at The Dog n' Duck Pub to kick things off. Midnight til 2AM. Basically right after Steam is over. Folks might very well be headed over earlier than that, but you know, see Steam.
The Hideout will spring for some pitchers of beer and appetizers.406 West 17th Street Austin, TX 78701
Friday
After party at Steve Rogers's place. NOTE: THERE IS A HEATED POOL. AND A PHOTO BOOTH. The party starts at 10pm and goes til God knows when, but again, come to the festival shows first.

Saturday
EPIC Moonbase Party! Kaci and Roy open up their house at Midnight, and keep it open until everyone leaves, probably 7am.
It's also my (Roy's) birthday! The Hideout will provide snacks and booze, but feel free to bring stuff, too.
