Last minute Diagnostics class with Roy and Kaci, this Sunday

Post by Roy Janik »

Hey folks!

Kaci and I are leading a scene diagnostics workshop *this* Sunday (3/25) from 10:30am to 1:30pm at The Hideout.

If you haven't worked with Kaci before, you're in for a treat. She's got a wonderful eye for stage picture, presence, emotional resonance, and genuine connection.

And if you've taken anything with me recently, you'll know that I'm currently obsessing over the idea of where the focus is in a scene, and what that means for what you should be doing at any given time.

We'll be guiding you through scenes, and helping you push yourself to make stronger, more immediate, more obvious choices... based on latent choices you were already making in the scenes.

It's $25 for 3 hours, and the class is capped at only 8 students.

Want in? Shoot an email to me at roy@janik.org to reserve a spot.

Thanks!

I'll take the workshop, but only if you and Kaci are dressed like in the photo.
The silver knives are flashing in the tired old cafe. A ghost climbs on the table in a bridal negligee. She says "My body is the life; my body is the way." I raise my arm against it all and I catch the bride's bouquet.

This was such a fun workshop! I had a great time and I'm so thankful we got to buckle down and work hard together. That was a delightful group.

We'll definitely do this again AND today's workshop made me realize a group scene workshop is in order!
So, that too...

Yay!
