the setting is a bar, but the show does not take place in a bar. the performers are dressed as leather bound archetypes, but they are not playing those parts. how do environment and dress impact a story when they are not directly involved?

Quaranteen
cast it!

A biological menace ravages the world outside. These fine middle schoolers were picked by the government's new supercomputer to survive. Can they weather the biological apocalypse outside while living in a bunker with little to do?

(I see this as a series of at least 4 shows)

Guess who just put up their poster in the Hideout?

One of the curious things about censorship is that no one seems to want it for himself.  We want censorship to protect someone else; the young, the unstable, the suggestible, the stupid.  I have never heard of anyone who wanted a film banned because otherwise he might see it and be harmed.

New Choice meets Groundhog Day. a "day in the life" longform narrative. whenever things in the story get too dramatic/ridiculous/boring/whatever for the protagonist, someone can declare "NEW BEGINNING!" which takes them back to the very first scene to take them down a whole new path. questions of fate versus free will abound with relationship drama and wacky hijinks galore!

i hear they're opening for...

Fox Populi

...but i don't know who's in it!

That sounds really, really awesome. I'd actually love to do it. I've often wondered when watching improv about the other ways the show could've gone if different choices had been made.

Rev. Jordan T. Maxwell wrote:Fox Populi
Clay Towery - Renard Reno (the "Fox"), a seemingly lazy gentleman; secretly fighting for the people
Asaf Ronen - Michel Mortimer (the "Gouverneur"), a heartless villain who rules the town with an iron fist
Curtis Luciani - Luc Claude (the "Capitaine"), the chief of police who is TOO smart for his own good and constantly second guessing himself
Shana Merlin - Mireille Guiliano (the "Vixen"), niece of the Gouverneur and a seemingly vacuous flirt; also secretly fighting for the people
Shannon McCormick - Maurice (the "Mime"), thought to be deaf and dumb, but actually can both speak and hear; acts as the eyes/ears of the Fox

with...
Michael Joplin - merchant/towns-person/soldier
Jason Vines - merchant/towns-person/soldier
Eric Heiberg - merchant/towns-person/soldier
Kareem Badr - merchant/towns-person/soldier
Katie Thornton - merchant/towns-person/soldier
Stephanie Towery - merchant/towns-person/soldier

An improvised French version of "Zoro" using "real" fencing swords (and a lot of cutting remarks). Story centers around the the elaborate plans of the Gouverneur & the Capitaine to get more gold. The Fox inevitably disguises himself and steals it, giving it to the people. Each night, one of the merchant/towns-person/soldier plays the "Faux Fox" -- an assassin from another country hired to try to unmask the fox, yet always ends up dying miserably (terrifically).

Please cast...

After an accident involving a velvet-lined, lamé-accented time machine, the world's most eligible bachelors meet none other than F. Scott & Zelda Fitzgerald.

TOGETHER THEY FIGHT CRIME.

Now, could somebody cast "Mysterious Exit"?

The flight attendant made sure to tell me that it's a federal crime to tamper with the smoke detectors.  I think it should be a federal crime to tamper with ANY part of the plane.

Oh yeah,

Mysterious Exit is Madeline Chauvin, Todd Hart, Regina Soto, Joe Ricks

Two girlfriends go out to a party and meet two mysterious bachelors who happen to be undercover assassins. Little do they know that their night leads them to adventure and possibly some murders.

Been hearing allot about Photographic Memories, could someone tell me about them?

That, of course, would be Cody Melcher, Adan Gutierrez, Andrew Pish, James Roberts, and Stephanie Hagemeister.

Now, would someone please cast BELIEVING IN MONDAY?
The silver knives are flashing in the tired old cafe. A ghost climbs on the table in a bridal negligee. She says "My body is the life; my body is the way." I raise my arm against it all and I catch the bride's bouquet.
