Auditions for Danger! The Improvised Lifetime Movie

Post by AmyD »

AUDITION NOTICE:

Danger! The Improvised Lifetime Movie
an Institution Theater production
directed by Amy Dietze

About the show:
In Danger! The Improvised Lifetime Movie, the cast presents a fully improvised cinematic narrative in the style of perhaps the greatest genre of our time: the Lifetime Original Movie. Following in the footsteps of such films as The Wives He Forgot and Stranger With My Face, we bring you into a world of deception, manipulation, anguish, constant eavesdropping, and excessively dramatic music. How many terrible things can happen to a woman who never has any clue what's going on? Join us and find out.

The show will run Friday nights at 8pm in February at The Institution Theater.

Commitment:
Rehearsals will be twice a week beginning in January, likely on Monday nights and another day/time TBD based on the cast's availability.

Audition information:

Monday, December 19th
7-9pm
at The Institution Theater (3708 Woodbury Dr.)

No need to bring anything. Please RSVP if you plan to attend so I know how many people to expect.
If you are interested but cannot make it to the audition, please email and we will figure something out.

To sign up:
Email Amy at akdietze@hotmail.com

Hope to see you there!!

A million audiences, giving a million suggestions, could never approach the quality of titles like Mother, May I Sleep With Danger.
The silver knives are flashing in the tired old cafe. A ghost climbs on the table in a bridal negligee. She says "My body is the life; my body is the way." I raise my arm against it all and I catch the bride's bouquet.

I'm totally going out for this. I can't wait to beat me a wife! Or psychologically torture her. Or cheat on her. Or keep my embezzlement secret from her. Or secretly have a second family. Or...
