Bringing da music to OOB!

Post by AmyA »

Hey gang--

GGG just returned from the New York Musical Improv Festival. We saw some really cool musical improv groups from around the country and just wanted to put in a plug that it would be great to see more musical improv at OOB. We got contact info from several of the groups and are planning to pass on OOB submission info to them when the time comes, but I thought I'd give you some names too.

Baby Wants Candy (NYC) would be an awesome headlining group. They were phenomenal. They did long form and montage. Tara Copeland teaches musical improv classes

North Coast(NYC): Improvised hip hop. Super badass

Tale of Two Genres (SF): Improvised musical Dickens

Stacked (CHI): Girl group, musical montage

Mansical (CHI): Boy group, musical montage

Oh, and there was this chick named Jill Bernard who does this badass one-woman show.

Thanks,
Amy

I second both...
Baby wants Candy and Stacked.

I've worked with Stacey in Stacked and she is a doll of a person and the group is so fun.
