After much deliberation I guess I will make wheat pumpkin/apple mini-pies (think like McDonald's "pie" or a Hostess fruit pie) with cinnamon dough. I'm shooting to make around 40 of them.

i will eat all of the vegetables

Hey Nancy,

If you edit your ORIGINAL post and put the list THERE, that can be the one post where you put the list. You can continue to edit that first page, and people know exactly where to go to see the current list.

Buttermilk Pie

Post by Ryan Hill »

I will be bringing a buttermilk pie, which I will have purchased from Karen DeWitt.

Trust me, this is what you want me to do. :-)

Actually, truth be told, Karen will be bringing it. I will be bringing her money to pay for it. :-)

I ate aforementioned buttermilk pie last night, and it was delicious. Also, because I am the regenerate form of KJ DeWitt, I also baked the pie and enjoyed my own company as I ate it.

In short, I will be at the pot luck on Sunday; Kayla will be there, too.

One thing worth mentioning is that there will be a LOT of people at this event. We will definitely need quite a few more people to bring drinks at the very least.

And, unless people are expecting Peter to do a Costco run, we need more people to bring things to eat off and with. Perhaps once there are a few people signed up, they can coordinate amongst themselves to make sure things are covered.

As of now, there are 118 people who have said they will attend (via the FB page) and there are 564 still pending response (surely some of those people will be there).

I'll likely be bringing some beverages then. Beer most likely.

Last year I brought my own camping utensils. Worked out OK and maybe saved 1 leaf of one plastic tree... But I'm also willing to kill a tree if need be.
