Can anyone become a good improvisor?

I agree. A student can learn all the mechanics of comedy and storytelling in the world but the only way to let them flourish onstage is by letting go of fear and ego, which is harder for some people than others.

it comes and goes in waves, Bill...i think the feeling of being "lost" or "i don't know what i'm doing" is less of a regression to not knowing anything and more just that you've become accustomed to the level you've unlocked. if all Neo sees is the Matrix, after a while that just becomes the new mundane reality. until you unlock the next level and see everything through epiphany eyes again. the beautiful thing? there's always a next level (and i am pretty sure that you will be the first improvisor to discover how to fly just through the power of prov.

Yeah, I know... I'm just impatient and it seems like the more time you spend doing it, the further apart and the smaller the waves are. It's a good thing I enjoy just being in the water.
