Ah, Nostalgia... [WARNING: mushy jay ahead]

Post by Evilpandabear »

as some of you may or may not know, i am leaving this country in *deep breath* 8 months. i got a job waiting for me in taiwan. ever since i got word of my acceptance (almost 6 months ago), i became incredibly nostalgic over the last 9 years of my life--the time i've spent here in austin. the last 4 of which, i've been doing improv. Now with the year being 2006, it has really hit me that i'm leaving town.

i ran into this website on previous boards, and wow. i realized, i met a good chunk of you just last summer. seeing the videos, and reading about all the old stories, the christian pot show (haha) and those damn penis shaped cookies, really made me quite sad that i'll be leaving all of you in just a few months. i have made a lifetime of memories with most of you these past 6 months, and i look forward to the memories i'll share with you over these last 8 months.

i'm loved improv for only 4 years, but it feels like a lifetime. improv in austin really had its slow days, and it's so refreshing to see it coming to life again. as much as i desperately want to stay here in austin, i know i must leave, but i want to thank all of you for bringing improv back from the dead, and making it the glorious wonder that it is today.

Thank You.

ps - here's that website: http://www.suzannemahadeo.com/improv/ go suzanne for taking a pictue of me i actually like. (i'm not very photogenic.) oh, and mike... sorry i stole your line dood.
