How would Start Trekkin: TNG differ from O.G. Start Trekkin?

How would Start Trekkin: TNG differ from O.G. Start Trekkin?
Was just musing to myself about what would be involved in updating Start Trekkin'. I'm not saying it's a good idea or anything, just wondering: what tropes would be different? Would it be nearly as entertaining without the original-series camp? Can't late-80s camp get any love?

I'm given to understand that some improvised Treks do TNG. I wonder if anyone does Deep Space Nine.
Actually, improvised Babylon 5 would be more satisfying. Well, except here in Austin, where we can't seem to get Jinxo to leave the station.

the balance between bridge scenes and away team stories would lean more heavily towards the bridge. less thinly veiled social allegory, more philsophical musings on "what does it mean to be hoo-man?" less active captain, but a better actor playing him. 
also, the potential for improvised Q and the Borg. 
i'd be curious about improvised DS9, especially as highly serial and spiritual as it got later on. y'know, fuck it, let's go whole hog with improv BSG (Ronald D. Moore version. ).

Actually, late 60s camp, rather than late 80s.
The Batman show did great with that 60s camp.
The O.G. had that camp and it also blatantly hit a social issue in a lot of episodes, i.e. the Tribbles was about understanding others rather than just choosing violence, the black/white face episode was clearly a racism is illogical episode, etc. etc.
And riding on Boyko's statement, puppets would be great for the O.G. version, thinking about how some of those aliens were puppetish and the special effects were cheesy in it.

I think the fact that we have 2-3 generations of people who have the OG tropes in their pop-culture brain make it more fun to Spoof, Parody or Satirize. I don't know enough about what makes the NG DIFFERENT from OG to really love for itself, and not just a spin-off. But I did watch it.
