What does it say that I'm happy to be working on a list of sad songs?

The silver knives are flashing in the tired old cafe. A ghost climbs on the table in a bridal negligee. She says "My body is the life; my body is the way." I raise my arm against it all and I catch the bride's bouquet.

Darkness
Super eclectic, but pretty fun to put together. There are songs about the night, songs filled with dark content, sad songs, creepy songs, and some light at the end of the dark tunnel. Oh, and some Shatner.

"Has Been" is an amazing album. Seriously.bradisntclever wrote:Darkness

Might have to pull in a track from that myself.
I'm almost crying in my coffee putting this one together.

I'm down to 35 tracks. I'd like to cut it down more, but it's getting hard to pick...

I almost included Waltz #2 as well. It got cut late in the game. Like your mix a lot!bradisntclever wrote:Darkness

I very nearly included that version of Don't Fear the Reaper, but went for a different cover instead!

After I saw the cover you used I looked for another and came up with that one. Nice to meet you in person tonight!valetoile wrote:I very nearly included that version of Don't Fear the Reaper, but went for a different cover instead!

It's sad. So sad. What a sad sad situation. And it's getting more and more absurd. Sorry seems to be the hardest word.Rev. Jordan T. It's a bunch of songs with comically/seriously dark lyrics, David's Darkness Ditty.
Bonus points to anyone who catches the stealth pun in the playlist.
