How About...
How about sad songs? Just a thought. I have lots of those.

Hm, how about "Darkness" as a culmination of all these ideas? Sadness, scariness, the days getting shorter and nights getting longer. Even the bands left out of the spotlights at ACL. Post 'em here when they're ready. As always, I will maintain a running list in the initial post.

Any guidelines on length? Number of tracks, total time?
Or should I just score an entire acid trip from initial drop to coming on to things-are-getting-a-little-weird to OMFG-it's-full-of-stars to it's-all-so-breathtakingly-beautiful to umm-how-much-longer-i'd-really-like-to-take-the edge-off to ohhhh-kay.
All themed with DARKNESS of course.

I would think 10-30 songs would be good, between 30-90 minutes. But you know, don't let me limit your art. If your mix needs to be seven hours or seven minutes, well go for it.wiggies wrote:Any guidelines on length? Number of tracks, total time?

I remembered a song that needed to go on mine today and added it. This is a mix I've had knocking around in my head for years.

Working on it.
What does it say that I'm happy to be working on a list of sad songs?
