Where to stay in NYC?

Post by AmyA »

Hi gang--

GGG is headed to the New York Musical Improv Festival in early November. It's at the Magnet Theatre in NYC. Anyone have advice on finding a relatively cheap place to stay near the theatre?

Thanks!

This is not cheap, but I loved it. If you want to splurge and treat yourself to a place that is super sweet, this is nice. And it's 7 min away, walking.

I stayed there back in late July, 2006 (was in NYC for the Del Close Marathon) and it was $260.00/night. It has 2 double beds, but there were a gaggle of AIC imps who came and washed their stinky road-trip bodies off and napped in this room, so tho it says it doesn't accommodate 4 ppl, you can totally do it if you don't mind closeness.
