It's my first time attending OOB and I'm super green when it comes to knowing the "Must See!" troupes and stand-up folks coming in are.
Those of you who went to the DCM (or any other fests, for that matter) and are clued in to the work of these troupes, who would you recommend absolutely not missing?
(Obviously every troupe coming in is on the high-caliber Scale of Improv Awesome, but I'm looking for first-hand recs.)

710 Split! cough...
i'll stick mostly to out of town troupes (since if you don't know Pgraph and Confidence Men, for instance, aren't to be missed...well, there's little else to say. :p )
Token Boy, Nerdvana and TuskegeeXperiment are some of my favorite troupes out of Los Angeles. i also have great fondness for a lot of the guys and gals in 400 Cat and My Favorite Customer.
KC Redheart and Computer out of Chicago get my recommendation because any troupe with Bill Stern is immediately 50 times better than the rest of the world.
Audience of Two and Skinny Bitch Jesus Meeting out of NYC. Nuff said.
Twinprov out of OKC are incredible. Twin brains meet group mind and awesomesauce ensues.
Lounge-asaurus Rex out of Minneapolis is great fun. And if you miss Jill Bernard's Drum Machine, you WILL kick yourself for the rest of your life.

From a show scheduling standpoint, the acts at the State are the headliners, so those are folks who are likely going to be the most experienced/biggest draw/most popular.

Out of Towner Strategy
I'm also following the "out of towners" strategy. I love Austin troupes, but I can see most of them any time, so I'm focusing on the out of towners.

I cannot recommend Skinny Bitch Jesus Meeting highly enough. Sketch goddesses. They were at the Edinburgh Festival when I was there last year and they killed night after night.

However, I'll be playing with both of them. So that might drag things down a bit.Rev. Jordan T. Maxwell wrote: Lounge-asaurus Rex out of Minneapolis is great fun. And if you miss Jill Bernard's Drum Machine, you WILL kick yourself for the rest of your life.
