It was a fun show. Thanks for letting me jump in.

Also, being from Mississippi, I have no idea why I kept doing different British voices for the redneck character no matter how much I tried to do a deep Southern accent. I. Just. Couldn't. Stop.

well, from a linguistic perspective, old Southern and British accents are much more closely related than you might think...

Oh, yeah, I know, but it's just that I was stuck. I kept trying to do a deep Southern accent and ended up doing another variation of a British accent each time instead. The audience seemed to have loved seeing me falter, and it's probably one of the most blatant examples of me breaking on stage too. I had to revert to doing a burly man voice for the last couple of lines so I wouldn't do yet another British accent.
