Polyphonic Spree in town!

Post by HerrHerr »

Whee!

I love this band. I have just purchased a ticket to their September 14th show @ Emo's. This show is the night before ACL kicks off (which I will also be attending).

Yeah, you might be scared by their cultish nature or think they are too much happy for the world to take, but they put on awesome shows. Thirty people on stage rocking out, singing beautiful songs. They opened for Bowie a year ago and were amazing.

I took some friends who knew about the Spree to a a show of theirs and my friends bacame instant fans.

I don't have time to put up a link, but check out their official site.

If you aren't jaded and can afford $25, you will love the good vibes and energy.

What you scared of Mark? Worried you'll be pulled into selling Amway?

Yes! You rock!

Tell us a little about Enon (it's so close to "Eno" that I'm rippling in anticipation).

By in, do you mean that I can get on stage and shake my tam(i)bourine?

And by tam(i)bourine I mean booty.
