Ethan from Baltimore

Post by EAC »

What's shaking, Austin?

I've crossed paths with some of you, I'm sure. I'm Ethan Cooper, and I've been a performer and some-time teacher and director for 5+ years with the Baltimore Improv Group. I've done longform and shortform and a buncha side projects. This fall I am moving to Austin to pursue an MA and hopefully eventual PhD in Arabic Studies at UT. No disrespect meant to my hometown but I'm really excited to come to a city with full-time improv theaters. I'm willing to start anywhere, Basic, Level 1, waterboy, what have you. I just wanted to say hello and I can't wait to meet each and every one of you.

Cheers,
Ethan

Welcome Ethan, I am genuinely excited to meet you!

However

I must express a very strange sensation. Whenever you said "Ethan From", a very somber emotion eclipsed me. I cannot put my finger on this feeling. But it only happened briefly. But Then I read your post. But Then I got WAAAAY excited. Now I am super excited to be talking to you.

WELCOME ETHAN OF BALTIMORE!!!!

How could I forget you, Jill? I made you scrambled eggs with broccoli that one time. Always good to hear from you.

Did I meet you in Philly at Duo Fest last year, Ethan?
Or perhaps on your home turf in the Summer of '09?

We met albeit briefly during PGraph's East Coast tour (I actually still have the poster on my wall). You guys were awesome and unfortunately you weren't performing the last time I was in Austin. I will be there this weekend though, do you have a show?
