This was awesome! I've watched it twice already and need to see it again. Amazing, amazing, amazing... I don't see how this could not win.

They didn't say they'd show winning videos before the movie, but c'mon, it's the Alamo, it's what they do!
I will make sure that we show it plenty at my Snakes on a Day stunt. Nice job guys.

That was really cool! I voted for you and I hope you get the exposure that you deserve. I also like your logo on the title cards. :-)

I loved the silent film conventions (film loop, outdoor shots, signage, and the priest's lip-syncing) but mostly Kaci as The Damsel, Kareem in a fez (FEZ!!!), Wes' makeup, and "Look -- a zeppelin!" I loves me some zeppelins...

Well, we didn't win.

But we did get in the top 20, which means Tarantulas on a Hovercraft will played at the "best of" screening, and sold as part of a dvd collection I think, and screened before showings of Snakes on Plane.

And there's still a chance of winning an audience award, I suppose.

I stand corrected. Tarantulas on a Hovercraft won the award for "Audience Favorite". Ballots were handed out during the 4 screenings of the local films, and the audience wrote in their favorites at the end. And we won that. So the internet can suck it, but Austin's got our back.

This makes me happy.
