'Tell Your Friends! The Concert Film!' has been OOB BOOKED!

Post by beardedlamb »

I am very excited to report that we have booked a screening of 'Tell Your Friends! The Concert Film!', the much-lauded altcomedy film that made such a splash at SXSW this year.

Tell Your Friends! The Concert Film!
is the story of indie comedy in New York City; like classic rock films 'Woodstock' and 'The Last Waltz,' it tells the story of not just a show, but a scene; a generation of comedians who honed their craft in the bars, rock clubs, and little black box theatres outside the mainstream comedy club circuit.

PRODUCED AND DIRECTED BY: Victor Varnado
PRODUCED AND CREATED BY: Liam McEneaney
BASED ON THE LIVE SHOW 'TELL YOUR FRIENDS!'

WITH PERFORMANCES BY:
Reggie Watts
Kurt Braunohler & Kristen Schaal
Christian Finnegan
Leo Allen
Rob Paravonian
Liam McEneaney

SOUNDTRACK BY: A Brief View of the Hudson

FEATURING INTERVIEWS WITH:
Janeane Garofalo
Jim Gaffigan
Colin Quinn
Marc Maron
Paul F. Tompkins
Eddie Brill
Wyatt Cenac
Hannibal Buress
Kumail Nanjiani

We've also booked Liam and Victor, the filmmakers, for stand-up sets of their own and a pretentious Q & A following the screening.

Saw this at SXSW. It deserved a bigger screening.
