Announcing The Improvised Play Festival, coming July 1-3

Post by Roy Janik »

Right now we're gearing up for The 42 Hour Improv Marathon and the debut of Holy 1960s Batman, Batman!, but I wanted to take a moment and let you know that something I've been wanting to do for a long time is finally becoming a reality.

The first weekend of July The Hideout is presenting The Improvised Play Festival... a showcase of narrative and/or theatrical improvisation.

I'm also proud to announce that we have secured Code Duello as the festival headliner. They do an extraordinarily unique show wherein they play Hamilton & Burr in the last days before their famous duel... using an audience suggestion to discover what really led to their animosity. The show I saw of theirs is in my personal top 5 list.

There will be a lot more information on the festival coming soon, but I'm too excited to keep it in any more.

Feel free to post questions here.

Roy
