When I first heard the title of this show, I was pretty skeptical. But I think this is incredibly awesome risk to take in an improvised setting. Dionysus in 69 was an amazingly engaging, challenging, wild show and little of that had to do with subject matter.

So much of what we preach in improv is "Saying Yes" and yet when we get to the heart of the matter in improv scenes--drama, love, decisions, sex, etc.--it becomes the most difficult moment to "Say Yes." Making that decision is frightening and creating an atmosphere where making ballsy decisions (pun halfway intended) without feeling judged or fragile is not easy. Really interested to see the outcome.

Cheers,

Avimaan

I'm with Avi on all this , although I was always pretty confident that Andy's intelligence and thoughtfulness would insure this would be an intersting project.

Good job guys.

Is there another city with as many interersting/boundary pushing improv shows and formats as Austin right now?

oddly the name of Andy's Austin access show about the wonderful world of papier mâché...
"... and now we'll use some chicken wire to form up some happy little trees in the background...."

P.S. Odds are, we want to emend that name to "The Andy Crouch Casting Couch", right? #neverpassuparhyme

Why not "Andy's Casting Crotch?" I mean, if you're honestly going for nudity, it's not just about the girls...
