iO Spring Intensive -- Anyone want to take my spot?

Post by tacotrombone »

Hey there,

I just found out that I will be having to go to court with my previous employer, and I will not be able to make it to the Spring Intensive at iO.

I had to pay $300 to go, but I will gladly give someone my spot for $250.

Bonus points: You get to hang out with Brent Foshee and Kristin Henn while all learn from Joe Bill.

Not bad, right?

If you are interested, please email me directly at
tacotrombone@gmail.com

Thanks,

Joshua

To be honest, I think something on the forum is broken for people with low posts counts. Other people have told me that their threads never show up when they post them.

It would appear that happened to this poor fellow (a number of times)

Very understandable.

Spots, if you look, you'll see he posted it in multiple posts in different sections of the forum - "general discussion", "events", "classes", etc.

Appears so.

Regardless, somebody told me they tried to create an introduction thread yesterday and just gave up.

It usually depends on whether they are trying to attach files or pix or stuff like that. Your post count has to get to a certain number (I can't remember what it is) before you can do any of that.

If you're just trying to say "Hi, my name is Sunday Next and I'm taking 201 at Merlin-Works. Yay for improv!" or some such it shouldn't be a problem.

Can't tell you if they tried to post a youtube link or something, but ideally there would be an error message or such, no?
