Hire David Z. for (nearly) ANYTHING!

Post by Spaztique »

As some of you may know, I'm completely and utterly broke at the moment and in dire need of money. Since I won't be able to secure any normal job for the foreseeable future, I've decided to loan myself out to anyone for any kind of job for the low low price of a minimum of $1. That is, it's a pay-what-you-want system, but $1 is the bare minimum.

And yes, I'm being dead serious about this, so if you plan on making any jokes, don't.

So, what does (at least) one dollar buy you?

Cleaning Services - Throwing a party, but you don't want to pick up the next-morning mess all by yourself? Have me take care of it!

All-day chauffeur - Need a ride as far as Waco or San Antonio, but your friends are all at work? I've got pretty much all of Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays (before 6:30), and Sundays off!

Moving Stuff - Did I mention I have a truck? I'll help you haul heavy stuff from A to B!

Personal Shopping Guy - Too tired to get groceries? Give me a list and the budget, and I'll get it all for you!

Audio Production/Mastering - Are you in a band? Do you want to sing pop music, but you don't have a band? Need a song mastered? I've got an equivalent to a music studio in my room.

Graphic Design - Need a flyer or a logo or something? Give me the general idea/art direction and I'll see what I can do. You don't pay until you're satisfied.

Photo Touch-Up/Editing - Same as the graphic design, only you send me pre-existing photos.

Improv Coaching - I know this is quite a stretch, but if there are any new troupes who are absolutely desperate for a budget coach, I'm always available. Again, it's a minimum of $1, and not per person, either.

Anything else - These are all just suggestions. You name something within the realm of reason, and I'll probably do it. Remember: it's just a minimum of $1, and you don't pay until you get what you want.

Hope demand meets supply soon enough for you. Then you can adjust your pricing accordingly.

I'm totally with you. I was thinking about doing something similar. If you encounter anyone who needs help moving and therefore need an extra set of hands I'll do it.

Mr. Zimmerman! I like making friends with people! You are a people! I think we should be friends!

THEREFORE

I will pay you a crisp five-dollar bill
To grab some burgers with me.
So we can hear one another's stories
and in general become more than "Hey it's that guy from improv"

(I will also buy your burger. So that is like MEGA AWESOME)

What do you say?

If you're serious, name the time and place (either via PM or just here so we can invite others). That counts as an anything, right?

Best job ever!
If there are two things I love, it's hamburgers and friendship.
I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.-Audrey Hepburn
