I love it, but we still need weekly site updates with specifics such as which troupes are performing. It's very necessary to give the website any sort of function to curious patrons. Who does the website updating?
Agreed. The president should, in the eventuality that such obligation isn't delineated to someone else or if they fail in their duties, update the website. Just another reason why it's important to have an "end of the line" when it comes to responsibility.
It'd be great if whoever owns an individual show could update the page describing their shows, as well. I'm working on the Double Barrel one right now.
Oh, and another thing. How do I get doublebarrel.austinimprov.com ? Just ask bob?
Experimenting with putting the week's schedule on the main page... not too happy about how it looks yet. Take a look at austinimprov.com and make recommendations.
I think what you've been doing looks great Roy. I personally prefer the "gridded" look that's you had up previously (time slots x nights), but I guess it's harder to get the individual troupes in there. Either way, I think the icon/avatar/image-based thing makes it easy on the eyes and probably more accessible for someone who's unfamiliar with us.
Roy, this all looks wonderful! You've done a really great job with spicing up the main page, schedule, and show descriptions. It actually grabs my interest now.
This is great. I like the schedule on the front page. Now we just have to figure out how to make it happen every week reliably. Ideas? If Jeremy says "President" I'm gonna cyber-slap him.
