Maestro is calling...

Post by Jessica »

Time to sign up again!

Working on some fun directors for you.

By the way guys, I only cast myself about twice a month. So if you ever get a little resentful by not being cast (I know you don't want to be, but sometimes it is human nature) just think about how much fun it is to assemble a great cast, an awesome show, and realize that it is better off with out you. Or that it is just not your turn. I hope this helps if you sometimes get down about not being cast - it really is about the show and not about you or me.

I'd like to shed the rust of a year's absence from Maestro and throw my dusty hat in the ring.

Yeah, this is totally a good problem to have. So many good people coming up, and there's only so many slots. I mean, hell, I've probably directed at least forty or fifty shows in the last couple of years, and it ain't always my turn to play when it comes around. And, yeah, I'm super grateful that's Jessica's problem now, and not the director's, because choosing a dozen players out of such a large pool of sweet potentials is no picnic.

Also, I'm busy this week. :p

I'll play this week unless the show would be better without me. In which case, even I wouldn't cast me.

Thanks,
Andrew

*playing shoot-em-up games*
*phone rings*
David: Hello?
Maestro: Hey, Dave. It's Maestro.
David: Yo.
Maestro: Watcha doin'
David: Playing shoot-em-ups. Just got two games in the mail and waiting on a third. How about you?
Maestro: I'm good. What are you wearing?
David: ... What?
Maestro: Huh?
David: What did you say?
Maestro: Nothing... That was awkward.
David: Yeah, it was. What do you want?
Maestro: Your body.
David: HUH?!
Maestro: I mean, um... Do you wanna hang out this Saturday?
David: Don't dodge the issue.
Maestro: I WANT YOU... to do tech.
David: You clearly said, "I want you."
Maestro: Come on! You know the feeling's mutual!
David: I'm going to hang up now.
Maestro: WE SHOULD BE TOGET-
*click*

Yeah, I'll do tech. Just let me get a industrial strength rape whistle and some pepper spray first.
