Film Noir Double Feature at The Paramount

Post by kbadr »

To anyone interested in the upcoming Violet Underbelly show, or to anyone who loves classic film, block off Thursday January 13th for an evening of awesome.

The Paramount's doing a double feature of Laura and Out of the Past, two classic film noirs. Since I am flying all the way to SF at the end of the month just to see a noir film festival, it seems only right that I go see films screened in downtown Austin.

Join me! 7 & 9pm on Thursday January 13th. Buy a ticket to one, stay for both!

Did you just get the name of your own show wrong?

Does me pointing it out automatically cut me out of the running for being in said show?

Sorry smartass. I was the webmaster of a website called The Velvet [...]
... also, "Velvet Underbelly" was Kareem's porn name, right?

If you can manage to sit in the Paramount's crap chairs for two movies it should be a good time!

I'm going to go see these, hopefully there are still tickets for sell at the box office (online sales are closed the day-of the event).

I'm stupid. OF COURSE there were tickets left. Hundreds and hundreds, even. :)

The double feature was great! I really enjoyed watching both, especially Laura.
