For ten years the Ratgirls have been performing their mind-meltingly messy shows – from humble beginnings at Austin’s No Shame to winning the Producer’s Pick at the Fringe Festival in Houston and headlining The Dysfunction at Austin’s Art Authority.
This December they return for another Holiday Special at the Salvage Vanguard Theater, with 50% new dancings, 30% new jokes and 100% new messes. Ratgirl Rattus and Jobber Ratgirl once again take the audience on a mind-bending tour of the nine circles of the Trail of Lights, interacting with such luminary public figures as Stephen Colbert, Higgs Boson, and the elusive Osama Bin Laden. Their tireless Tech Stooge joins them again for more menial cleaning duties and tasings.

It is challenging to describe what exactly the Ratgirls do. They entertain (in the broadest sense of the word) and their shows bond you and the rest of the audience like surviving an airplane crash while being really drunk bonds the survivors. It is a rite of passage; it will change you and your perception of life.
Moist towelettes will be provided upon request.
