Re: Video of Adsit & Lutz from OOB 2012?
Old skool!
Just for the record that A&L set is one of my all-time favorites. I'd love to see it again.
Me too! What's funny is that I've seen them quite a few times between OOB and multiple DCMs and that's definitely the best show of theirs I've seen (other outings were great, of course). Also ...

Ugh! That sucks! There was a Galapagos set that we were kind of find of and I think we never tried to download it or capture it because it was kind of like, "Oh, it'll be there for a while." Did they ...

Video of Adsit & Lutz from OOB 2012?
Hi!
I was wondering ... I remember seeing the Saturday night Adsit & Lutz show in OOB 2012. It was pretty amazing and still ranks as one of the best improv shows that I've ever seen. I remember video cameras being around. Is there any chance that there is video of that show somewhere?

Last minute, pay what you want SceneBlast! workshop on 3/1!
Hey, Austin folks!
I'm in town to host some ColdTowne ShowDowne shows on Saturday and we're doing a last minute, pay-what-you-want drop-in improv workshop in the style of our SceneBlast! workshops in Phoenix.
Info is down below and hope some folks can make it out!

Surprising Improv Game/Exercise/Warmup Name Variations?
I just started working with a high school improv club (superpsyched about it!) and today, I decided to wrap up with a rousing round of Freeze Tag.
Their faculty advisor (who is sweet and awesome) has been running things for the past few weeks according to what she's been reading out of books (which ...

Re: What do you do when improvising with a terrible improvis
Thanks to Bill and Brian for the kind words! I just came into this thread to say "Have fun" and also to probably joke about Clif posting a thinly veiled post about me but then there were nice things said (along with some great advice).
But yeah, have fun.

Re: Creating New Formats
When I'm working with a group to create a new form, I start off by asking them what works of art (performance, literature, paintings, photography, film, architecture, etc.) they find inspiring and to hone in on one (each individually). Then, I have each of them come up with a 15-minute-long mini ...

Re:
I saw as many of the shows in the orginal run as possible.
It was a lot more impressive than this list wouldd have you believe.
Hunnicut wasn't in that group. But maybe we could persuade Ike or Cackowski or TJ or Jon Lutz to come down and teach a weekend of workshops to a dedicated crew ...

I know that this discussion is from a while ago but ...
At The Torch, we have video of nearly every performance on our stage (occasionally guest monologists are shy about being on video or there's a technical gaffe). With our schedule, 10-12 videos are cranked out each week. Right now, all of them ...

Re: Re:
Just wondering: how might we get permission (if possible) to use any rad photos? Do we do that through OOB? In some cases, a specific photographer is credited - do we contact them?
