For everyone who hasn't heard me talk non stop on facebook about it, I am planning a charity clothing swap at the North Door. It is Sept 8th from 12-5. The admission is a suggested donation of 5 dollars or 2 with donation. We'll have ladies clothes, accessories, shoes, etc in all styles and sizes ...

Missi Pyle ( The Artist, Dodgeball, The Sarah Silverman Show, and so many more) is doing a night of alternative comedy and songs at Cap City tonight, but there is a secret guest and it's Tig Notaro. Know some of you like her and wanted to spread the word.

It's a new year, so get those new ideas on stage at SVT -

Sign ups are at 9:30pm sharp. You have 5 minutes to perform whatever (and we mean whatever) you want as long you don't harm the stage or anyone. Sketch, theater, stand up, dance, and every kind of extreme are welcome here. Get creative folks ...

July 20th at 7:30 pm will be the first ever Dance Fights at SVT.

Teams of 1-4 people compete in an anything goes dance off. Each team will come with a prepared dance that is under 4 minutes. Groups are scored by dance fight big wigs and have a chance to move on to the battle rounds with one team ...

There will be free food from Austin Pizza and the Easy Tiger and drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) at the 11:30 improv show and that will roll into a party as soon as it's done (probably around 1 am) Oh yeah, and lots of funny ladies.

Also the after party for LAFF tonight is at Cheer Up Charlies starting after the 10 pm (around 11:30 pm). Come hang out!

I have two LAFF tickets to giveaway for tonight's show. Who wants them? First person to respond gets their choice of the 8pm or 10pm shows this evening.

Can anyone help pick up LAFF performers ManiPedi from the airport today? Their flight was delayed and our original pickups can't make it. Laff is coming soon and we are still looking for a house to host our Saturday night closing party. Think you could help? We'll provide clean up and set up as well as alcohol and food. You can even keep whatever is leftover if you want. Plus you'll get to meet all the awesome LAFF performers ...
