tix purchased. doors are at 7, show at 8. one of my friends that's going doesn't get out of work till 7, so will prob pick him up on the way and head on down. i expect brutality.

also really liking Bison b.c.'s disc Quiet Earth. came out in '08, but i just got it recently.

if you aren't aware, Encore Records on Anderson is in the process of closing down. their stuff is pretty picked over at this point, but everything in there is half-off right now.

I have really been enjoying the most recent Mastodon album, The Hunter, which came out last year. i haven't listened to much of their older stuff, but this one makes me want to check it out.

I don't listen to it much these days, but if Manowar does another tour, go fucking see it. Your mind will be blown, it's the best show.

wasn't sure where to post this one. my friend Minka (who is working on her MFA in Glasgow) is putting together a couple art installations that will use, in part, video of people dancing, and is looking for some folks to submit short vids of themselves dancing for the piece.
