Re: NEED a house to rent... Urgently.
My friends are moving out of their place soon and looking to find someone to rent it. It's just outside of town, near the airport. Definitely more country than city. They have a lot of infastructure in place for food gardening, keeping chickens, even a goat pen. If that sounds like it might be good ...

Improvisor/business owner
How many improvisors here in Austin also own their own business? All the theatre owners, obviously, but I feel like there are a lot more. Let's start a list!

Re: improv accompanist
I think it's a matter of payment. Accompanists should be payed, most troupes or theatres don't have the resources to pay them. But I think as some troupes or shows are getting more established, stable, or professional, accompanists are more common. I think Maestro has an accompanist pretty regularly ...

When the survey asks me to rate myself, is that ranking? So if I think of myself as a performer first, I give that a one?

Re: Dealing with a belligerent audience
Yeah, it sounds like the audiences in general in SA are used to more of a stand-up club experience, where heckling and some back and forth are part of the experience. Re: Did Facebook kill the forum?
I find view new posts to be the most helpful for keeping up-to-date. View unread posts can be a bit intimidating since it really keeps track of everything you've seen and haven't seen. I don't bother with the "Tonight in Austin Improv" posts (since I'm not going to be there), so view unread posts ...
