As you can imagine, this was an extremely difficult process. We had some 30 people audition and the talent we saw was really extraordinary. So many elements came into play for making final decisions (for example: availability, experience ...

Enter the world of musicians on the cusp – of stardom, of reaching the next level, of bottoming out, of personal disaster. This improvised narrative journey follows characters as they realize how high the stakes are when they strive for fame – or infamy – in the music industry.

I'm well into my 3rd year of doing non-stop improv and a couple weeks ago I felt like I hit a wall. Why is this not fun anymore? Why am I thinking this much? Why can't I just say yes and? WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME OMG OMG?

Ryan Austin gave me a really nice one, although I can't articulate it too well.

He says I'm great at developing interesting characters that make unexpected but delightful choices.

Bill Arnett has a great technique for getting past arguing without losing your character. "Say yes, but do no." So your character doesn't want to do A, but instead of arguing for the entire scene and getting nowhere, you agree to what is being asked of you, but your attitude ...
