Pdyx - As far as the radio segment goes, I'm pretty sure that's the site they mention. There are interviews with some of the people from the site, and in typical TAL fashion, they look at it from different angles. Definitely worth a listen.

How about an event where we meet in a public park and there is a theme. People can dress up or bring ideas or props inspired by that theme. Maybe some people form teams or troupes ahead of the event. Maybe there is a person or group of people who serve as Dungeon Masters for lack of a better term ...

Its probably not black and white. You can spontaneously make connections based on a subconscious impulse. You can also react in the moment, and consciously remind yourself to heighten your emotion, or to hit a pattern again.
