Hey all,

as some of you may or may not know, I am taking some time off of performing to dedicate the next few months to raising money for Leukemia research. I'm doing this through an organization called Team in Training with Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In other words, I'm not just donating time and money to the cause... and asking others to do the same... I'm also donating my body to train and complete a triathlon at the end of this spring. You can read more about all of this in the blog I'm keepingupdated through the process

I'm hoping though that you will also consider making a donation. A few of you already have, and for that I'm really very grateful.

I'm also planning on throwing a fundraising event. My dear friend who's father is the reason I'm doing this, has belly dancing cousins... so there could be some hot hot Lebanese belly dancing at the event... stay tuned for those details at a later date.
