Famous guitarists shred ...poorly

This is one of my favorite things on the internet and I'd like to share it.

Basically, a guy took video of famous guitar players and overdubbed really bad guitar playing in place of the real audio. Simple concept, transcendent results. Some of the guitarists in question complained after the videos became huge on youtube, and they were all removed. ...but Wired.com saved them all and now hosts them. I cannot pick one favorite, but the Carlos Santana one has a very special place in my heart.

I love how he actually synchs his playing with what the guitarists fingers are doing so it's really believable. So simple and brilliant.

Yeah, the guy who does it is an amazing guitarist himself. I love how believable it is.
