This here's Chad

Post by ChadW »

Howdy all, I'm Chad Wellington. I'm currently finishing up Level 5 at the Hideout with my glorious classmates, several of whom (at least Brad, Paul, Kat) have preceeded me to the forums. We all started in the same level one and have been riding the roller coaster/crazy train ever since.

I've also greatly enjoyed the elective series run out of the Hideout, but haven't expanded much beyond such class-ish (let's not say "classy") environments. I'm looking to ameliorate such with more stage time and focused practice on top of the awesome improv-y fun happy time I have with my friends.

Welcome, you gigantic curly frisbee oaf!
The silver knives are flashing in the tired old cafe. A ghost climbs on the table in a bridal negligee. She says "My body is the life; my body is the way." I raise my arm against it all and I catch the bride's bouquet.

If this is the same Chad that I took Ratliff's elected course with, I think you are the dreamiest!

If this is not that Chad, then... please describe in detail how dreamy you are!

Thanks y'all! I am indeed that Chad from the extended elective, so I guess my dreaminess can be taken as read?

Though combined with "oaf" and "bear" I'm getting a self-image somewhere between Yogi Bear and Tigger. Perhaps I will have to find a picture to hang on the account to stem the tide of rumors of my ursine heritage.

Yes! Chad is a fantastic mix of Yogi Bear and Tiger too! Chad is funny, charming, and supportive on stage. He sweetly began an "I've got your back line" at the beginning of our level 5 show a few night ago. It really set the tone for an energetic show with cast members supporting each other throughout. Chad also does great low statusstatus characters partially because he somehow manages to pull off timid or meek or shy in spite of his size. It's always funny. Just yesterday he called himself a delicate flower. Awesome.
