The canon description of the B Wing from Wookieepedia :

The B-wing/E was designed at Shantipole Research Station, a Verpine facility deep in the Roche asteroid field. Rebel operatives foiled an attempt by Imperial spies to steal the design specs for the craft, and the craft was brought to production by Slayn & Korpil.

Admiral Gial Ackbar made use of a specially modified B-wing/E as his personal military shuttle. His craft, dubbed the B-wing/E2, was made with a wider command cabin to accommodate a single passenger seated next to the pilot seat. While traveling with Princess Leia Organa on final approach to the planet Vortex, Ackbar crashed his B-wing/E2 into the Cathedral of Winds, destroying the structure and killing over 350 native Vors in the process. It was later discovered Ackbar's fighter had been sabotaged by his chief mechanic Terpfen, an unwilling agent of Ambassador Furgan of Carida.

So it's up to the general masses to determine if Kareem is correct.

There was no word on who designed the Y-Wing on Wookieepedia. That site is known for everything from canon to the expanded universe, but it lists mostly fictional companies when talking about most designers/construction companies of the fighters or ships in the universe.

If I'm still being quizzed, stick to Sfx/ilm stuff!

I think Kareem retains the crown, as his instinct was correct. INSTINCTS FTW.

I would guess that it lists entirely fictional companies.

Point to Kareem for nailing the Dykstraflex (bonus for knowing who John Dykstra was).

I believe, but am not certain that the 7 axes of the camera he came up with were boom, tilt, swing, track, roll, traverse and pan.

I could be wrong and will appreciate correction with moderately good humor.

I see my geekiness has quieted the room.
I...I guess I should be used to that by now.

Oh, is it still your turn? Very well: how many individual body controls (e.g. blinking eyes) did the Yoda puppet have?

Wow. I have no idea. I can guess.

I know there were controls for each eyeball, for his eye lids, his mouth, eyebrows. I think that might be it. I don't think his ears were articulated.

How'd I do?

I can't seem to find the answer. I've googled until I can't google no more.

"I work Yoda with my hand in him, and my thumb would be his mouth and my middle finger is up on his brow; my index finger, my fourth finger, is the upper palette and the small finger really does nothing. And then somebody will work the ears, somebody will work the eyes, and somebody else will help me maybe do a hand"

So...what is that...

Mouth
Eyebrows
Upper Palette (more mouth?)
Ears
Eyes

Don't think I got that one :)
